INTRODUCTION

Arsan has been working since 13.03.1998 in Arhavi, Artvin under the name of Arsan Arhavi Weapon Industry and Business Center.
Target: Along with improving the local weapon production and providing most of the need for the market, Arsan aims to improve the growth of national industry, to organize the business potential into the local areas, to provide workforce and working conditions and support the use of local production.
Arsan has started working with the Turkish Republics and other international markets lately. It also works with many companies in the USA and Egypt to be able to multiply the product lines for the market is has been working for as a leading company.
The head office is located in Arhavi with the operating offices, having more than 85 workers.  Arhan has licensed its name in 12.03.1998 as Arsan Arhavi Silah San. ve Tic. A.Ş.
As Arsan Arhavi Silah San. ve Tic. A.Ş. we have been producing products for MKE and for its related cooperating businesses. With the permission from the related departments, we have been providing to Dz. K.K. and Hv K.K. our own models such as Şahin 2000 Light.
We produce three models: Şahin has 15+1 bullets capacity in 9mm diameters; Şahin 2000 Light  has 15+1 bullets capacity in 9mm diameters and Serçe has 6+1 capacity  in 7.65mm diameters.  We are able to produce 18.720 guns per year.
Since the beginning of the production, we have been producing thousands of weapon and artillery and selling them to MKE. We have also been in coordination with the Security department and provided 15.000 guns (9x19mm).
We have 10.000 m2 open and 4.500 m2 closed area in Arhavi, Artvin. We have been doing weapon and product lines alike without giving any harm to the nature and to our beautiful Black Sea Region where we are located.
We are one of the leading companies in our market and area with our CAD / CAM systems and CNC technologies. We have been using the best conditions in our business to provide the best of all in the market. However, we have been producing all the equipment in our factory.
We have the honour to serve the Turkish Army Forces and Turkish National Defense having been the authorities in Turkey.
We have been putting effort on improving the production process considering the fact that production needs a lot of research and improvements by itself.

Under the conditions that all the authorities in Turkey ask the gun needed from Turkish companies, the market in turkey will have a better base for production and consequently that will make a base for rise in technology and  quality.
We hope that Turkish Ministry of Defense and related departments like Turkish Air, Land and Naval Forces will provide the needed weapons, equipments and their parts from local companies to increase the internal production and wealth.

Through training the personnel about the global changes in the market about the production, therefore reducing the production cost to minimum and on-time production, we aim perfect customer satisfaction.
After close insight to the production process in research and development department, we added our models Şahin 08 - Şahin 2000 L (9x19mm) and Serçe (7.65mm) to our product line.
We have been working on marketing our products to the Turkish Republics and other countries in the world.

QUALITY POLICY
Arsan,  in order to fulfill the product design control, has provided the documented procedures and their continuity.
In order to manage the design activities in discipline, Arsan has a written strategy policy.

-Product design shapes the product quality. Therefore, development and construction plans have been made for each production activity.
- These plans are explained in details and all the responsibilities are addressed and have always been updated.
- Qualified personnel with equipped resources are put in charge for development and construction.
- All the technical relations and other relations between the groups in product design have been set. These have been documented and given to the related departments.
- The responsibilities needed and given are set and checked continually in order to manage the production process perfectly.
- The conditions for the design input are set and documented. All the equipment about the product, criteria, specifications, operation plans, timing and technical documents are explained in details.
- Design outputs include design costs, product performance, analysis, security tests and trials, alternative costs. They have been also all documented.
- All the controls during the process have been all documented.
- All the legal responsibilities have been fulfilled.
- The design and the product development results are checked in every phase by a qualified personnel in related department.
- The checks and their copies are documented and kept in related departments.
- The qualified department and personnel checks the process and results of the design process for double-checking. And all the records are kept in safe for further checks and use.
- After the finished product and the addressed conditions, design acceptability and compatibility process starts.
- Design acceptability and compatibility process have been redone periodically for the customer satisfaction and product usage conditions
- Along with time and changes, customer needs and wants, design changes and repairs are checked and controlled by the related departmented and documented regularly.
- The design changes, so-called subjects and criteria that needs to be completed are set and documented.
